Netflix wants to highlight its content via N-Plus

Given that the streaming space is becoming more competitive every year, Netflix's platform may be working on an online hub to highlight the power of its original content.

A customer survey seen by the Protocol website indicates that the company is considering creating a platform called N-Plus.

Netflix has long produced behind-the-scenes interviews, audio clips, and other supporting content to promote its assets and share them across YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms.

The survey suggests that the company may double these promotional efforts while adding some additional social features.

The company says about the project: N-Plus is a futuristic online space where you can learn more about the Netflix shows you love and anything related to them.

The document indicates that the center can include content, such as podcasts and user-generated playlists.

Netflix provides most of the hints on how the playlist function works, and the survey suggests that you can compile lists of your favorite TV shows and movies and share them online.

The playlist idea also extends to music, as the survey asked how people feel about N-Plus providing all music from TV shows and the possibility of creating playlists from them.

The way Netflix puts the feature suggests that the company could use it to bring new customers to the service.

The document states that if viewers are not members, they can only watch a trailer for the show itself.

Another part of the survey suggests that N-Plus users can determine the future of Netflix production, the document says: learn about a planned (pre-production) show and influence its development through comments before filming ends.

It is also considering hosting reviews of TV shows from users and is likely to feature shows from people with similar viewing tastes, according to the survey.

A Netflix spokesperson said about N-Plus: the company frequently surveys its customers about the ideas it is working on behind the scenes.

Netflix uses platforms such as Twitter and YouTube to promote what's coming to the service, and even some of its more specialized social media channels have strong followers.

And it will not be difficult for the company to try to take advantage of this interest from a different angle.
