One of the owners of Apple's AirTag tracker unwittingly discovered a hidden Developer Mode in the interface that appears across the screen, which the Find My App displays when the precise search feature is activated to help locate one of the company's item trackers.
The precise search feature provides users with specific directions across the screen to find a nearby AirTag product.
iPhones with the U1 chip, found within the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 models, can take advantage of the feature, which combines camera input, augmented reality, audio, ultra-broadband radio technology, and tactile feedback to help locate the tracking element.
Displays the overlay hidden mode, which appears after clicking on the item name four times in the interface of careful research, diagnostic information, and real-time about running water, including the coordinates of the accelerometer, gyroscope, haptic feedback, screen resolution and tracking animation and more.
The hidden menu reveals some of the background data used by the service, which can be accessed by opening the Find My App and selecting one of the AirTag tags, and then clicking on your name in the upper left corner five times.
It is not clear what you mean all the information, although some classifications, such as the display device, clear.
The list appears to be a relic of Apple's development process, with information supposedly left from an early beta version of the Find My App.
One user suggests that the bottom four sliders relate to the different colors your screen turns to when you approach the item associated with the AirTag product.
The top two scrolling sliders are related to camera dimming and brightness, and the economical mode label seems to indicate a battery-saving feature that offers lower screen resolution, like the Find My user interfaces include an AR camera overlay that directs you to your item.
While the score options apparently indicate the number of dots that appear across the screen as part of the animation that shows you when you approach your goal.
Apple sells individual AirTag items for 2 29, while a package of four AirTag items can be purchased for 9 99.
